KHL: Barys outplay HC Ugra 2:1

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana have outplayed Russian hockey club Ugra on the road, Kazinform has learned from Vesti.kz.
The Astana-based club snatched the 2:1 victory during the Tuesday match in Khanty-Mansiysk. Dustin Boyd scored the opener only in the 51st minute of the game with the help of his teammates Brandon Bochenski and Mike Lundin. Defenseman Oscars Bartulis, the new signing of Barys, gave the Kazakh squad a 2:0 lead a minute later. Ugra managed to score their one and only goal in the last minutes of the third stanza. Thus, Barys celebrated their sixth win in 12 matches and earned 17 points. Barys are set to play HC Traktor in Chelyabinsk on October 2 at 7:00 p.m. Astana time.
