KHL: Barys, Neftekhimik to face off in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Neftekhimik from Nizhnekamsk, Russia are expected in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana tonight, Kazinform has leant from Vesti.kz.
KazSport TV channel will air the Neftekhimik vs. Barys showdown that will be held at Kazakhstan Sports Complex at 7:00 p.m. Astana time. Earlier it was reported that Barys won their last home game against HC Lada from Togliatti in overtime. That allowed the Astana-based club to retain its 5th spot in the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League. As for HC Neftekhimik, they are currently almost at the bottom - 13th spot of the KHL's Eastern Conference.
