ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana head coach Andrei Nazarov has been suspended for six games for obscene gestures at the Barys vs. Admiral match in Vladivostok on Wednesday (September 17), Kazinform has learned from Vesti.kz.
The incident that led to Nazarov's six-game suspension occurred in the final minute of the game. Nazarov unleashed obscene gestures at KHL referees and officials for a decision to impose a penalty on one of his players. He let his anger out by throwing objects onto the ice. Barys were downed by the Admiral squad 2:3. The next Barys vs. Admiral game is set to take place in Vladivostok today at 14:30 p.m. Astana time. Apparently, without Nazarov.
