Khabar 24 TV channel names new director

Zhassyn Birkenov has been named the new Director of Khabar 24 TV Channel, Kazinform Agency reports.
His previous post was the director of Atyrau-Akparat LLP.
Birkenov who started his professional career in 2006 worked on different channels throughout years.
He was the author and host of a number of thematic programs, editor-in-chief on Khabar 24 TV channel as well as the channel’s reporter in Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that ex-head of Khabar 24 TV channel Eldar Bakpayev had been named the President's deputy press secretary.
