Kazykhanov says Kazakhstan, UN relations advanced in recent years

ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov states that the relations between Kazakhstan and the UN have advanced over the last years.
Two visits of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to Kazakhstan in 2010, visits of UNDP Administrator Helen Clark, UNESCAP Executive Secretary Noeleen Heyzer, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Jan Kubiš, UNFAO Director General Jacques Diouf and UNWTO Secretary General Francesco Frangialli, appointment of Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev as UN Under - Secretary General - Director General of the UN Office at Geneva prove this fact.
