KazInvestBank Botabayev resigns from post of independent member
ALMATY. September 30. KAZINFORM - Today the Board of Directors of " KazInvestBank " has accepted the resignation of an independent director Darkhan Botabayev, says the press service of the company.
"The current situation in the center of which KazInvestBank has appeared to be, has forced me to resign from the post of an independent member of the board of directors of the bank. The Bank does not have any relation to what has happened and drawing the financial institution into the conflict is inappropriate. In this regard, for ethical reasons, I have decided to leave the board of directors of " KazInvestBank" JSC. I think that with respect to the Bank and its management it is the right decision on my part", said D.Botabaev.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Nurjan Dzhanabekov expressed hope that a fair legal assessment of the incident would be given by the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
NOTE: On September 11 this year Darkhan Botabaev came to an office in Almaty for airline ticket purchase, where he behaved inappropriately, cursing obscenities to the airline employee and repeatedly struck her in the face.
