Kazinform to launch Arabic and French sites
ANA. September 16. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ Today Kazinform National News Agency has held a presentation of its new website. The website with a new design and modernized content was launched Sep 1.
"Modernization of the content is only the first steps taken by Arna Media Holding for improving the Agency's work", First Vice Chairman of the Holding Kaisar Zhanakhanov said.
The website of the Agency was changed into a modern multi-functional portal. As President of Kazinform National Company JSC Dauren Diyarov noted, "there was both internal and external modernization".
According to the President, the agency plans to broadcast news in the Kazakh language using the Arabic script. Thus, it will provide around 1.5 mln Kazakhs living in China with an opportunity to receive the latest news from Kazakhstan. In future the Agency will provide news in Arabic and French.
To date Kazinform has launched several projects on its website, these are infographics, regional newswire and press review.
Infographics allows printed, TV and internet mass media to get most important news of Kazakhstan in maps, schemes and diagrams. Kazinform is the first agency in the country providing such information product to the Kazakhstan media market.
Regional newswire is in fact separate website of each region providing comprehensive information on the latest events.
Press review reflects most important articles of the national mass media. The project is directed to popularization of the printed mass media. Press review allows Russian readers to get familiarized with the content of Kazakh issues.
