Kazinform takes part in CIS Information Council's sitting in Baku

BAKU. March 1. KAZINFORM. /Arnur Mukhametkarim/ Today Baku hosts the 11th sitting of the CIS Information Council, which coincided with the 90th anniversary of the State Telegraph Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Heads of the information agencies ITAR-TASS (Russia), UKRINFORM (Ukraine), BelTa (Belarus), Kabar (Kyrgyzstan), Khovar (Tajikistan) and Kazinform (Kazakhstan) take part in the event.
After the sitting the representatives of the information agencies met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who emphasized the important of cooperation and strengthening bilateral contacts both in economic and humanitarian spheres.
