Kazinform News Agency awarded «20 Years of CIS» jubilee medal
ASTANA. October 7. KAZINFORM The XVII session of the Council of heads of state information agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States took place in Chisinau. Kazinform News Agency represented by its Director Dauren Diyarov was awarded the jubilee medal "20 Years of CIS".
Kazinform News Agency as well as AzerTAc News Agency (Azerbaijan) were awarded for their contribution to the development of integration between the CIS member countries.
The session brought together heads of numerous news agencies, AzerTac (Azerbaijan), BelTA (Belarus), Kazinform (Kazakhstan), Kabar (Kyrgyzstan), Itar-Tass (Russia), Ukrinform (Ukraine), to name a few.
The next XVIII session of the Council of heads of state information agencies of the CIS member countries is set to take place in Kazakhstan.
