KazEOSat -1 launch set for April 29

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The first Kazakhstan's Earth Observation Satellite will be launched from the Kourou Spaceport, French Guiana on April 28 at 22:35 by local time that is April 29, 07:35 of Astana time.
The first satellite was built by French Airbus Defence and Space (formerly EADS Astrium). It is designed to provide a full range of earth observation services, including cadastral surveys, management of natural resources, environmental monitoring and homeland surveillance. The satellite will be launched by European Vega carrier rocket into the sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of about 700 km.
