Kazakhtelecom, China Telecom step up cooperation

ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM JSC "Kazakhtelecom" and China Telecom discussed further development of joint cooperation between the companies, JSC "Kazakhtelecom" press release reads.
The telecommunication giants signed a memorandum on the construction of the second joint on the Kazakh-Chinese border to improve the level of telecommunication services..
Over the 12 years of partnership JSC "Kazakhtelecom" and China Telecom have inked 6 documents for cooperation, including the bilateral agreement on creation and maintenance of Kazakhtelecom PoP in Hong Kong.
The signing of the latest memorandum will facilitate further integration of telecommunication networks of Kazakhstan and China.
