Kazakhstan's main New Year tree lights up in Astana

A ceremony of lighting up the main New Year tree of Kazakhstan was held at the EXPO Square in Astana, Kazinform News Agency reports via the city mayor’s office.
As many as 5,000 people attended the event.
The 25-meter high tree is decorated with snowflake lights and ornaments, toys, stroboscopes, garlands, etc. A two-meter snowflake light is on the top of the tree.
A concert program, a New Year Fair, a labyrinth and an ice skating ring, a food court, and various photo zones were organized for the guests on the territory of the EXPO.
