World No. 337 Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan failed to advance to the finals of the W35 Solapur 2024 Tennis Tournament in India, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
World No. 924 Bunyawi Thamchaiwat of Thailand defeated the Kazakh tennis player with a score of 6:1, 6:4 in two sets.
Earlier, Kulambayeva beat Diana Marcinkevica of Latvia with a score of 6:0, 6:4 in the Women’s quarterfinals.
The W35 Solapur 2024 Tennis Tournament is scheduled to run on December 9-15 in India.
