Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina paired with Slovak Viktoria Hruncakova stormed into women’s doubles final of the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
The Kazakh-Slovak tandem eliminated French Jessika Ponchet and Czech Anna Siskova 7-6, 4-6, 10-7 in the semifinal of the tournament.
Danilina and Hruncakova are to face the winners of American Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Czech Marie Bouzkova vs. Dutch Suzan Lamens and American Mccartney Kessler semifinal-encounter.
On the way to the final the Kazakh-Slovak duo stunned Aussie and Chinese tandems.
