Kazakhstan’s Bublik withdraws from Rolex Paris Masters 2024 doubles

World No. 33 Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan and Karen Khachanov of Russia have announced their withdrawal from the doubles event of the Rolex Paris Masters 2024 in Paris, France, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

The Kazakh-Russian duo were set to compete against the French duo of Arthur Fils and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, but decided to withdraw from the match.

Earlier, Kazakhstan's highest-ranked tennis player Bublik lost to Holger Rune of Denmark in two sets with a score of 6:4, 6:2 in the singles event of the Rolex Paris Masters 2024. In the meantime, world No. 21 Karen Khachanov will continue his performance in the tournament’s singles event. On October 31, the Russian tennis player will play against Alexei Popyrin (ranked 24th) of Australia.

It was previously reported that the position of the Kazakh tennis players in the world ranking has worsened.
