Kazakhstan’s Bublik books Montpellier final against Borna Coric

Kazakhstan’s 2nd-seed Alexander Bublik set the ATP 250 tournament Open Sud de France final in Montpellier against Croatian Borna Coric, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
The Kazakhstani routed Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime seeded 3rd at the tournament in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Throughout their encounter, Bublik fired 14 aces and made 4 double faults. By winning the Montpellier semifinal, Bublik tied his head-to-head rivalry with Auger-Aliassime 2:2.
In the final Alexander Bublik will face Borna Coric whom he stunned in Halle in 2023.
It bears to remind that the Kazakhstani claimed the ATP 250 Montpellier singles title in 2022.
