Kazakhstanis to pay Astana-Burabay highway fare since 2011

ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Since 2011 the Kazakhstanis will have to pay money for travelling on the Astana-Burabay highway. Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kussainov informed of it at the Governmental Hour in the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament today.
"Since the next year drivers of the cars will pay KZT 1-2 per a kilometer, while the price for commercial transport vehicles including buses will make KZT 5-15", A. Kussainov said.
As for the residents of the settlements located along the highway, transit across the highway will be free of charge for them.
