Kazakhstanis proud of stability, interfaith consent - head of Georgian center

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is proud of stability and interfaith consent prevailing in the country, believes head of the South Kazakhstan Georgian Center Zaal Bochorishvili.

"This is due to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev," Mr. Bochorishvili told Kazinform correspodent. "Throughout the years of its existence the People's Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been fostering our youth in the spirit of friendship. No matter what is your nationality, you will get help from your fellow countrymen. This is a principle all people in Kazakhstan are committed to." According to him, joint holidays add to friendship between representatives of various nationalities. "People celebrate Nauryz and Maslenitsa together. They respect each other, our children study culture, traditions and customs of various nationalities. The mission of our center is to preserve peace and respect among people residing in Kazakhstan," he said. Mr. Bochorishvili also admitted he looks forward to the upcoming session of the People's Assembly on Friday chaired by President Nazarbayev.
