Kazakhstani Zarina Diyas skyrockets in WTA Singles Rankings after W50 Kayseri title win

After winning the W50 Kayseri Tournament singles’ title in Türkiye, Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas landed a new spot in the updated WTA Singles Rankings, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
Zarina Diyas climbed 109 spots up occupying the 379th line of the updated WTA Singles Rankings. Her closest neighbor in the ranking is Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan, who moved up three spots to 311th line.
Earlier it was reported that Zarina Diyas secured victory in the W50 Kayseri Tournament final in Türkiye last week. She defeated world No. 224 Aliona Falei of Belarus in two remaining sets with a score of 6:4 and 6:3.
