Kazakhstani won 'silver' at jiu-jitsu championship
PAVLODAR, KAZINFORM - Policeman from Pavlodar Marat Omarov won the silver medal at the championship of Kazakhstan, which was recent held in Astana, the press service of the department of internal affairs informs.
130 best wrestlers from Kazakhstan and Russia gathered in the capital city of Kazakhstan. Many of them are winners and prize winners of different international tournaments. Marat Omarov competed in the 92 category and won the silver medal.
Marat has been training for more than 10 years already. He is the Candidate Master of Sports. After the victory at the championship he was included into national team of Kazakhstan. The issue regarding awarding the title of the Master of Sports is now being considered.
Now, Marat plans to prepare for the world championship scheduled to be held in Minsk in this March.
