Kazakhstani women thanked N. Nazarbayev for care about family values

The participants of the meeting, who arrived in Astana from all over the country, represented different sectors of the economy, social sphere, culture and civil service.

In his speech, the Head of State congratulated women on the upcoming women's and wished them happiness, health and prosperity.

N. Nazarbayev noted one of the priorities of the state policy was improvement of the women's wellbeing.

"We have been through many different moments over the years of independence. Now, prosperity and harmony reign in our country. "Strategy-2050" and "Nurly Zhol" programs as well as all the other programs are aimed at it. Women feel the wellbeing just doing their things - raising children, laying table and they know for sure that the state cares about them," he said.

The Head of State also noted that the majority of civil servants are women, about 75% of people employed in the healthcare sphere are also women and 65% in education and 40% in business.

The President also told about the continued increase of birth rate in the country noting that 400 thousand children were born in 2014.

He also reminded that our country marked 23 years of independence this year.

"This time elapsed as one moment, because we were busy working for the good of our country. Now, we see the results. The state we have built is recognized globally," the President said.

The Head of State noted that thanks to stability in the country, the economy of Kazakhstan is developing dynamically.

Upon completion of the meeting, the President presented awards to mother with many children.

In their speeches, the women invited to the meeting expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for the conducted policy aimed at protection of maternity, children, strengthening of family values. Besides, the women noted the importance of further implementation of state programs aimed at ensuring the prosperity of each family of Kazakhstan and all citizens.
