Kazakhstani tennis players ready for 2014 US Open

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's tennis player Zarina Diyas will face Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine in the first-round match of the 2014 US Open in New York, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
The 25-year-old Tsurenko is currently ranked 128th in the WTA rankings, whereas Diyas is №46. Yaroslava Shvedova who will also represent Kazakhstan at the tournament is set to play Monica Niculescu from Romania in their respective first-round clash. As for men's singles, Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan will meet with German Jan-Lennard Struff, Alexandr Nedovyesov - with James McGee from Ireland and Andrey Golubev - with the 15th seeded Fabio Fognini from Italy. As reported earlier, the 2014 US Open is to kick off in New York on August 25.
