ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas has crashed out of the Guangzhou International Women's Open 2014 today, Kazinform refers to Vesti.kz. The prize fund of the tournament is $500,000.
In the first-round match the fifth-seeded Diyas lost to qualifier Zhang Ling from Hong Kong in straight sets 4:6, 1:6. The 20-year-old Kazakh athlete is currently ranked among WTA's top 40, whereas her opponent Ling is only 220th in the rankings.
