Kazakhstani sport rocked by another doping scandal

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Top Kazakhstani swimmer and member of the national team Elmira Aigaliyeva has been tested positive for doping, 24.kz. says.
Aigaliyeva was tested positive for a banned substance at a sporting event in Brest, Belarus in July 2014. The Kazakhstani was handed a two-year ban by FINA - International Swimming Federation after testing positive. That means the swimmer will not be able to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. This is not the first time Kazakhstani sport rocked by doping scandal. Earlier it was reported that Astana riders Ilya Davidenok as well as brothers Maxim and Valentin Iglinskiy returned positive doping samples. Source: Vesti.kz.
