Kazakhstani school leavers to sit unified national testing in 2015

"The ministry plans to hold the unified national testing in 2015," Vice Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Takir Balykbayev told a press briefing at the Gumilev Eurasian National University on Monday. "The testing will be held in line with a state program. However, the test format will be updated starting from 2015. A special state commission is to study the issue. We will announce the alterations to the test format in 2016." After the briefing, Vice Minister Balykbayev met with parents of prospective university students to discuss their proposals regarding the new test format.
