Kazakhstani runner dispels expectations, crashes out of world athletics championships in Moscow

ASTANA. August 15. KAZINFORM Kazakhstani athlete Margarita Mukasheva couldn't qualify Thursday for the world athletics championships finals in Women's 800m race at Luzhniki stadium in Moscow, Vesti.kz. web portal says.
The 27-year-old Mukasheva came 7th in the qualifying race and failed to join the finals. It is worth mentioning that Margarita won gold in the same discipline during the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan.
The Moscow championships, which began August 10, run through August 18 at Luzhniki stadium.
NOTE: Dmitry Karpov of Kazakhstan, the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics bronze medalist in decathlon, pulled out from the championships in Russia earlier due to injury.
