Kazakhstani producers take part in World Food Moscow 2014
MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - The World Food Moscow Exhibition has kicked off in the capital of Russia. Now in its 23rd year, World Food Moscow provides suppliers in the food and drink industry with a chance to showcase their products to buyers from CIS and far abroad countries.
"Kazakhstan's participation in such events provides local food and drink producers with an opportunity to find their room in the Russian market," believes Ruslan Baksin, representative of KAZNEX INVEST Agency. This year the agency helped five Kazakhstani brands showcase their products at World Food Moscow: Kublei LLP (canned meat products), Sezam Eko LLP (fat-and-oil products), Rosa LLP (beverages), Makariya LLP (meat products), and Daulet Beket LLP (dairy products). In 2013, the exhibition brought together more than 1,500 companies from 63 countries and 26,000 visitors. Kazakhstani producers Tsesna Astyk Group JSC, Kublei LLP, Semipalatinskiy meat processing plant LLP, Sultan Marketing LLP, and Tea House LLP exhibited their products at the event. Export contracts worth of 250 million tenge were signed following the exhibition. "We do expect that Kazakhstani producers will ink profitable contracts at the exhibition this year as well," Mr. Baksin stressed.
