Astana. December 27. KAZINFORM - Ahead of the New Year day, the country's correctional facilities are holding a snow sculpting contest, which is traditional for many of them in this season.
Representatives of the correctional system department say that snow sculptures made in jails mainly represent fairy-tale characters and animals, even monuments. The contest is viewed as an event developing an aesthetic sense, teaching to love beauty and nature, helping each prisoner turn their phantasies into reality.
