Kazakhstani Popko wins ITF M25 Recife Men Doubles title

Kazakhstani Dmitry Popko paired with Brazilian Dutra Da Silva won the ITF M25 Recife Men Doubles title, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Kazakh Tennis Federation.
The Kazakh-Brazil tandem defeated Brazilian Luis Britto and Paulo Andre Saraiva Dos Santos in the final encounter 6:3, 6:4.
In the men’s singles Popko failed to celebrate his 24th consecutive victory. He lost to Argentina’s Juan Pablo Ficovich World No. 250 with a score of 4:6, 7:6, 3:6.
As earlier reported, Popko scored 23 consecutive wins in the finals and claimed titles at three ITF tournaments in the U.S. in a row.
The M25 Recife Tournament 2024 was held between March 4 and March 10 in Brazil.
