Kazakhstani MPs to participate in CIS IPA events in Saint Petersburg
ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM Delegation of Kazakhstani MPs led by Majilis Speaker (Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) Nurlan Nigmatulin have arrived in Saint Petersburg to participate in the events under the aegis of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and the international conference "Nuclear security in the modern world. Role of parliamentarians in the process of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation".
The plenary session of the CSTO PA and the Bureau of the EurAsEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly chaired by Mr. Nigmatulin will be held today, the chamber's press service reports.
In addition, the Kazakh Majilis Speaker is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with his colleagues from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
On Friday Kazakhstani MPs will take part in the 39th plenary session of the CIS IPA and the anti-nuclear conference. Mr. Nigmatulin will take the floor to deliver a keynote speech at the plenary session.
