Kazakhstani employers criticize recent graduates of vocational colleges
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Recent graduates of vocational colleges do not meet requirements of Kazakhstani employers, chairperson of Kasіpkor Holding Eldana Sadvakassova said at the press conference at KazMedia Center on Monday.
"The imbalance that has developed between education and labor market is reflected in the fact that employers constantly express their criticism over the level of preparation of recent graduates: it takes them too long to adapt to their work, they need to practice their skills directly at the workplace, and they do not meet certain requirements of employers," Ms Sadvakassova added. According to her, only 70% of college graduates find employment in the first year after graduation. Basically, all countries in the world face the same problems in the sphere of vocational education.
