Kazakhstani boxers learn their IBF rankings
The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has released an updated edition of its rankings of boxers in all weight classes, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
According to the IBF, Kazakhstan’s Ali Akhmedov retains his 15th position in the super middleweight ranking. The top two lines of the IFB super middleweight ranking are vacant. Vladimir Shishkin of Russia is placed second, followed by Christian M'billi of France.
Kazakh Zhanibek Alimkhanuly is currently the IBF middleweight world champion. While the IFB middleweight ranking’s first spot remains vacant, Etinosa Oliha of Italy and Chris Eubank Jr of Great Britain are ranked second and third, respectively.
Sultan Zaurbek of Kazakhstan holds on to the 7th spot in the IBF super featherweight ranking. British Anthony Cacace is the IBF super featherweight champion title holder, with Eduardo Nunez of Mexico and Masanori Rikiishi of Japan placed first and third. The ranking’s second spot is vacant.
