Kazakhstani and Tajik Culture Ministers meet to discuss deeper cooperation
ASTANA. December 5. KAZINFORM Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed has received recently appointed Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekov today.
During the meeting Mr. Kul-Mukhammed congratulated his counterpart on the appointment and said he is ready to work together. Minister Orumbekov, in turn, thanked his Kazakhstani colleague for cordial reception and expressed hope for further cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The sides also touched upon the deepening of multilateral ties within the framework of international organizations.
The Minister of Culture of Tajikistan is in Astana to attend the 7th session of the Cultural Council under the Integration Committee of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC).
