According to the expert, the analysis based on detailed comparison of the whole scale of economic and social indexes of the country's situation.

"Kazakhstan works very competently with the foreign investors. Besides, the country observes the fundamental rules of interaction with the international business world. It is also important that Kazakhstan does not impose its conditions on its partners. Kazakhstan has been working on the achievement of a high competitiveness ranking index. We can say today this work has been crowned with success. And I think it will continue," the economist said.

The economist reminds that this rating is not absolute, it is just one of the tools that are used by foreign investors when dealing with a particular country. "However, the apparent progress on this rating may not be noteless. And Kazakhstan in this respect has no problems,"  M. Khazin told.

"The main challenge facing the country is to develop a strategy on how to proceed. Kazakhstan, whose structure of the economy is much similar to the Russian one, moved far ahead, because for several years has been performing a serious program of industrialization, and achieved some success in this. I believe that such work as a whole will bring significant progress," M. Khazin concluded.
