Kazakhstan wins 3rd place at World Robot Olympiad 2014

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Schoolchildren from Taldykorgan have won bronze at the World Robot Olympiad 2014 in Sochi, Russia, Kazinform has learnt from Express-K newspaper.
Teacher of Robotic Science Nikolai Avdyunin, Grade 8 student Ratmir Sartbayev and Grade 9 student Bek Talgat stunned the Olympiad with their robot-gyroscope and earned the third place in Junior High age group. The team proudly revealed that they spent a year working on the robot and at first presented it at a republican competition.
