Kazakhstan weather forecast for May 5
A cyclone and associated fronts are likely to lash the greater part of the country with rains and thunderstorms, with hail and squalls expected in the west, north, and heavy rains in the west and northwest, Qazinform News Agency reports.
The National Weather Service Kazhydromet said a ridge of high pressure is to bring dry weather to the eastern and central parts of the country. The country will also brace for high wind, whipping up dust ties in the south, as well as fog in the west, north, mountain areas of the southeast during night and morning hours.
A ground frost of -1-2C is predicted in the east of East Kazakhstan, west, center of Abai regions at night.
A high fire danger will persist in the east, south, center of Kyzylorda, north of Turkistan, north, center of Zhambyl, north of Almaty, west, north of Zhetysu, south of Aktobe, southeast of Akmola, west of North Kazakhstan, west, north, east of Pavlodar, west, north, south of Karaganda, center of Ulytau, west, northwest of East Kazakhstan, south, east, center, northwest of Abai, as well as is expected in the center of Zhetysu.
A severe fire threat will remain in place in the southeast, south of Zhetysu region.
Previously, Qazinform reported rains and thunderstorms are forecast for most of Kazakhstan in the next three days.
