Kazakhstan weather forecast for May 13
Fronts are to bring rains and thunderstorms to most parts of Kazakhstan on Wednesday, with precipitation as rain and snow expected in the eastern and northeastern regions at night, Qazinform News Agency cites the National Weather Service Kazhydromet.
According to the Mets, dry weather is forecast for the southern part. The country will also brace for strong wind, fog, as well as dust storm in the west and south.
East Kazakhstan region will face the frost risk with temperatures to fall as low as -6C overnight. A frost of -1-3C is predicted in the east, south of Abai, east of Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, north, east of Pavlodar, west, north, mountainous areas of Zhetysu, west, north of Almaty regions.
A high fire danger will persist in Ulytau, west, north, south of Karaganda, west, center of Almaty, west of Zhambyl, west, north of Turkistan, north, south, center of Kyzylorda, south of Aktobe, southeast of Akmola, west, east, south of Pavlodar, east of Abai, center of East Kazakhstan regions.
A severe fire threat will remain in place in the east of Kyzylorda, southeast of Zhetysu regions.
