Kazakhstan weather forecast for Feb 8

The cyclone moving towards Kazakhstan from Russia’s Samara and atmospheric fronts caused by it will affect the weather in Kazakhstan today, bringing precipitation (rain and snow) almost to all parts of the country, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Kazhydromet.

Heavy precipitation will hit mountainous districts of the country’s south, and heavy snowfall is expected in northwestern, northern regions and in mountainous districts of southeastern regions.

Foggy and windy conditions are forecast across the country, and black ice will form on the roads.

Strong wind and snowstorm will hit northwestern, northern regions.

Gusts of wind in the west, south and east of Kostanay region, in the west, north, and east of Akmola region, and in the south, west of North Kazakhstan region may exceed 30 meters per second.
