Kazakhstan, Vietnam to launch direct flights in 2012

ASTANA. October 31. KAZINFORM Today within the official visit of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev to Vietnam Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry and Vietnamese Transport Ministry signed an agreement on civil aviation cooperation pursuant to the instruction on opening seven-hour flights.
Kazakh and Vietnamese sides encourage and support air carriers of the two countries to open through air service between Astana and Almaty cities of Kazakhstan and Hanoi and Ho Chi Ming of Vietnam, the Ministry's press release reads.
The agreement is to give an impetus to the civil aviation development and stimulate further advance of bilateral relations in the area of tourism, so on.
