Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan step up business cooperation
TASHKENT. KAZINFORM - Business delegation from Kazakhstan has arrived in Tashkent to participate in a business forum organized by Kazakhstan's KAZNEX INVEST Agency in conjunction with Kazakh Embassy in Uzbekistan.
In the Uzbek capital Kazakhstani producers of electric transformers, dry building mixes, oil and gas equipment, pharmaceuticals, medical products, flour, canned goods and paper products held talks with prospective buyers from Uzbekistan. "We've already expanded into the Kyrgyz market and are now looking for partners from Uzbekistan and hoping to establish trade ties with entrepreneurs there," Nurlan Akhanov, one of the participants of the business forum, said. At the Tashkent-hosted forum local company Rotor established business contacts with Kentau transformers plant LLP, Rotor's rep Mr. Makhsudov confirmed to Kazinform correspondent. Managing director for export and investments of KAZNEX INVEST Agency A. Arynov noted that ‘the forum will give an additional impulse to the development of business in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.'
