Kazakhstan updates agr't on encouragement and mutual protection of investments with Czech Republic
ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Senate has passed the law "On ratification of the Protocol between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic on amendments to the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments" at the plenary session today.
"The Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments was signed on 8 October 1996 in Prague and ratified by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 11 June 1997. The Protocol was inked on 25 October 2010," said Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev of the bill.
In his words, the agreement will be amended in connection with the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union and Kazakhstan's entry into the Customs Union.
