Kazakhstan, Turkey eye religious cooperation

ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM Chairman of Kazakhstan's Agency for Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Sharif met with newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey in Kazakhstan Omer Burhan Tuzel for the first time, according to the Agency's press service.
During the meeting the sides discussed the upcoming signing of the Protocol on Mutual Cooperation between the Kazakh Agency for Religious Affairs and Turkey's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet).
Summing up results of the meeting Kairat Lama Sharif and Omer Burhan Tuzel expressed interest in further fruitful interaction in terms of strengthening the bilateral cooperation.
