Kazakhstan to unlock its potential in women's cycling

ASTANA. June 6. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Cycling Federation sees huge potential in the development of women's cycling.

"I believe that Kazakhstan should pay more attention to the development of women's cycling. According to the statistics, there are a lot of promising female athletes in cycling aged 11-15. However, we do not have any programs or races for older female athletes," Darkhan Kaletayev, the Managing Director of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund" told a press conference in Astana today.

Mr. Kaletayev said he would make a trip together with the coaches around the regions of the country to explore the problem.
