Kazakhstan to take part in World Energy Congress in Montreal
ASTANA. September 8. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Kazakhstan will take part in the World Energy Congress and in the exhibition of energy equipment, technologies and services that are to take place in Montreal on September 12-16.
President of JSC "KEGOC" Almassadam Satkaliyev said it at the press conference on Wednesday.
'This is a major event in the sphere of power industry. The motto of the Congress is Today's global challenges - energy conversion for a living planet and it will include special programs such as ministerial programs and programs of power industry leaders. At the same time a specialized exhibition on energy equipment, technologies and services will be held', Almassadam Satkaliyev said.
According to him Kazakhstan will be represented by the Association of Organizations of oil and energy complex KAZENERGY that joined the World Energy Council last year.
Representatives of 94 countries are to take part in the Congress as well as heads of energy companies and famous politicians.
The issues of nuclear and solar energy, alternative fuels and transfer and redistribution of energy will be discussed at the Congress.
