Kazakhstan to step up cooperation with Ho Chi Minh Academy of Vietnam

During the meeting, the sides reached a number of agreements as part of strengthening cooperation with the Academy.

For instance, the Academy will increase its activities in the field of scientific research, information exchange, as well as training (including for senior positions) with Kazakhstani institutes. In this regard, he intends to establish partnership relations with the Institute for Strategic Studies of Kazakhstan under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an institution in which the country plays an important role in this direction.

The Vietnamese side will send an official delegation headed by Nguyen Xuan Thang on a working visit to Kazakhstan in April or May of this year in order to exchange experience, discuss prospects for training and coordinate joint efforts to train civil servants, including special training courses and internships.

Since the Director of the Academy is a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam, he, as one of the leaders of the party, plans to hold meetings with the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the leadership of the AMANAT party.

Vietnamese side will discuss with its Kazakh colleagues the issue of intensifying cooperation between the OTS countries with the Association of Southeast Asian states (ASEAN). To this end, both sides agreed that it would be very important to use the International Trans-Caspian transport route ("middle corridor") for the maximum development and increase of transit-transport and multimodal-logistics potential along the route Vietnam-China-Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan-Turkey-Europe to both ASEAN and OTS, and agreed that it is necessary to move to concrete action in this direction in a timely manner.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, aimed at raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
