Kazakhstan to sign agreement with Argentina on visa-free travel

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan plans to sign an agreement with Argentina on visa-free travel, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

"Currently, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan may visit Ecuador and Colombia without a visa. An agreement on Kazakhstan citizens' visa-free travel to Brazil to come into force soon. Moreover, it is planned to sign a similar agreement with Argentina", the statement reads. In this regard, the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic Hans Dannenberg said that his country had unilaterally introduced visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan and is considering the possibility of launching in late 2015 a charter flight from Almaty to the famous resort of the Dominican Republic Punta Cana. Latin America is a region with a total population of 600 million people. Its GDP reaches more than USD 4.5 trillion, and the volume of foreign trade is USD 2 trillion.
