Kazakhstan to set up Business Angels Club to help young businessmen

ALMATY. November 13. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan is to set up a business angels club where winners of the startup contests will represent their ideas to entrepreneurs, sponsors and philanthropists.

Rakhim Oshakbayev, the first deputy director of "Atameken" Union" National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan, told a press conference in Almaty, dated to the 2nd Youth Entrepreneurship Forum.

"Sponsors can support those ideas at various levels. We hope that philanthropists will join their forces and form a fund to finance the projects," R. Oshakbayev added.

The forum was attended by reps of the ministries of economic development and trade, industry and new technologies, education and science, akimat of Almaty city, "Nur Otan" National Democratic Party, the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan and many others.
