Kazakhstan to reinstate delivery of grain to Egypt this year

ASTANA. January 18. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Current year Kazakhstan will reinstate delivery of grain to Egypt to the extent of about 1.5 mln tons; Chairman of the Board of "National Holding "KazAgro" JSC Assylzhan Mamytbekov has informed of it today in Astana.
"Delivery of Kazakhstan's grain to Egypt will be reinstated in 2010 to the extent about 1.5 mln tons within the signed agreement between "Food Contract Corporation" and "Venus International" Company", - A. Mamytbekov said.
According to him the development of new export channels aimed at further export marketing activities is underway.
"We intend to start grain export to China and the countries of the Pacific Region", - he noted.
