Kazakhstan to provide additional assistance to Kyrgyzstan
ASTANA. June 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ - Kazakhstan will provide additional assistance to Kyrgyzstan. Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Askar Abdrakhmanov made it public at the briefing in Astana.
'Under the instruction of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudanayev discussed the volume and nomenclature of aid needed with Head of interim government of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva by phone', A. Abdrakhmanov said.
According to him, special attention was paid to full security of aid delivery to the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
K. Saudabaeyv emphasized that the President of Kazakhstan had been providing all necessary assistance to neighboring country since the first days of the crisis. Besides, he noted that Kazakhstan would render all needed assistance to the people of Kyrgyzstan to come out of the crisis.
