Kazakhstan to promote ensuring security, transport operations and simplifying border-crossing procedures - OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum
VIENNA. February 3. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ Located in the very heart of Eurasia Kazakhstan will promote further solution of the tasks on strengthening the architecture of security of transport operations and simplification of the border crossing procedures. Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Azat Bekturov said it following the first session of the XVII Economic and Environmental Forum of the OSCE in Vienna yesterday.
The first session of the forum focused on the issues of combined transport communication between the seaports and hinterlands, establishment of information centers of trans-border trade along the borders of CA countries as well as ensuring security of transport operations.
"We believe that our joint work within the XVIII Economic and Environmental Forum will promote development of favorable conditions for safe and secure transport communication on the continent and economic growth of the OSCE member-countries", Azat Bekturov noted.
